When it comes to exterior protection, windows and doors are among the most vital and costly investments to get right. A poor quality window, or improper installation can lead to many problems. Our window and door installers use the finest quality and energy efficiency windows and doors with the most up to date industry standard of installation processes to ensure that your windows and doors will be problem free.
Our windows also have a high quality aesthetic look, with various material options from exterior mouldings, frame material, glass, opening function, latching mechanisms, and interior finish options. The three most common types of window construction are wood, vinyl and aluminum. When deciding which windows are most suited to your needs, our reps are fully equipped to educate you on the advantages and disadvantages of each option:
Wood Windows: Most older windows were made of wood, and due to their versatility and aesthetic appeal, they are still common today. There are various types of wood you can select from in your custom order. They can be finished on the inside and outside with paint, stain and/or clear coat depending on the desired look. One drawback to the wood option is they are expensive, and sometimes require more maintenance than the cheaper options.
Vinyl Windows: The most common window used in new developments and renovations is often vinyl, which is low maintenance, offers great sound and heat insulation, and various finishes other than white. Vinyl windows are often the most cost effective replacement.
Aluminum Windows: Offering maximum light and viewing area due to the strength of the frames, aluminum windows are a desired option. With advancements in manufacturing, aluminum windows are coated with a durable finish to prevent rusting, which makes them low maintenance. One thing to consider is that due to the nature of metal, heat is lost and can result in condensation, which can be circumvented with double glazing.
Other Materials: Windows can be constructed with various combinations of materials, creating a hybrid of different options to suite your needs. A Reborn sales rep is happy to discuss all of your options with you.
Basement Windows: Looking for more light in your basement, or developing a basement with a bedroom and need to meet egress code? If you already have a basement window that does not meet code, we can often retrofit a new window to meet code and avoid cutting a larger hole. If you require a new opening, our basement window systems are a one stop shop that covers the design, engineering, permitting, steel reinforcements, framing, excavation, coring and cutting, debris removal, window well, washed gravel, and installation of premium basement windows. This process is often overlooked or corners are cut in order to save costs, which leave potential flood hazards, structural compromises, and insurance issues if completed without a proper permit.
Our advantage when it comes to replacing windows is the fact we are a full custom renovation company. If any other challenges come up during a window replacement such as damaged siding, stucco or mold we can take care of those issues at the same time rather then you having to call multiple contractors and having your cost escalate quickly.
Our windows replacement and windows installation will leave your house looking beautiful while increasing the value of your home. Please contact us for any size window replacement and window installation project.
